Advanced Placement U.S. History: Social Studies Summer Course
This course covers topics from colonial times to the present. Topics include a review of the American Revolution, the Constitution, the development of political parties and the 2 party system, the westward movement, Civil War, reconstruction, industrialization, immigration and consideration of 20th century topics. This course requires extensive outside readings, document based reading and testing, challenging writing assignments, and summer requirements. Students should be highly motivated and possess superior writing and analysis skills. Participation in this class will prepare students for the exam. Depending of the college or university, students may earn college credits by passing the Advanced Placement Examination prepared by the College Board.
Face to Face Online Course in real time, taught by a state certified Teacher of Social Studies.
Teacher for the course has been audited by College Board to teach AP US History.
IOE is Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools accredited.
60 hour course : 3 hours per day / 5 days per week / 4 weeks
